On September 18, 1929 the Auburn Panhellenic Council was founded. Auburn Panhellenic Council was chartered and recognized by the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) as the governing body for NPC affiliated sororities on campus. For the past 90 years Auburn Panhellenic Council has served as a voice, an advocate, a resource, and a community for women on Auburn’s campus. Auburn Panhellenic women have been leaders on campus, in the classroom, in board rooms, and in local communities. This September we invite you to join us to celebrate the incredible women that make up our past, present, and future. Please join us in celebrating all that we have accomplished together!
There are several ways that we will be celebrating 90 years of Panhellenic at Auburn. First, the Auburn Panhellenic Council is hosting a 90 Year Celebration Luncheon for past Panhellenic Executive Board members, specific alumnae from each of our chapters, as well as key Auburn community stakeholders that have helped to ensure the continued success of our Panhellenic Council. This event is Invitation Only and will take place on September 27, 2019. Immediately following the luncheon, the Panhellenic Council will be hosting tours of chapter rooms. During these tours, alumnae will be able to visit all of our eighteen (18) chapter rooms. On Saturday, the Panhellenic Council will be hosting a tailgate for the Auburn vs Mississippi State football game. There will be food, fellowship, and fun to be had at the tailgate before the big game! The tailgate will begin at 3:00pm and will conclude at 6:00pm. It will be located in the Magnolia Hall green space in the Sorority Village in front of Zeta Tau Alpha, Sigma Sigma Sigma, and Alpha Omicron Pi.
